From Garden to Table...

I've got tomato sauce simmering on the stove today!

Between what I gathered last week and today for tomatoes, I had enough to make a batch of sauce!

I took my bucket of tomatoes and washed them up in my favorite organic cleaner then piled them high into my VitaMix container for processing.


My VitaMix grinds everything up... skins, seeds, and all!  Then I dump the tomato stuff into my heavy pot, add spices like garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper and crushed red pepper... and simmer... simmer... simmer...

Tonight we're going to have meatball subs using my homemade garden tomato sauce!
