Well, here it is the last day of November!
I feel very unprepared for Christmas this year. All my decorations are in a box somewhere in the garage... The garage where all the extra stuff went that won't fit in our little cozy cottage. Christmas tree stand... hmmm...
This Saturday, I'd like to get a little tree. "Little" because it needs to fit in our little cozy cottage.
Now, what's going to be really interesting, will be the dynamics added by our two 7 month old kittens... Who are truly country kitties... striking out at anything that wiggles.
Matthew's home sick today. It's a stomach thing. I just spoke with the secretary at school, seems that the flu is going around. YES, of course! Just in time for the holidays!
I was prepared this time with my sick kid survival kit.
OK, the day is passing me by... time to get going!

Hi there, just wanted to say you're not the only one behind in the Christmas preparations. Although at present, I'm using the lack of snow as my excuse. I live in Canada, in a normally very snowy part of Canada, and tomorrow is December and there is still no snow on the ground! It can't be Christmas, it feels more like Easter. People are very confused. But on the plus side, I didn't get any frostbite when I put up the lights, and when I eventually go cut my tree, I may actually retain some feeling in my toes!
Also: I really think it's great that you spent some alone time with your kids individually. That is soo important!
